Early on in the night – the acoustic portion of the evening – Dan took the stage and performed songs from his upcoming solo album, including “Hello Stranger” and “Honey Please.” I wore a striped shirt like this on the cover of All About Chemistry, and the people on the Semisonic message boards called me a clown. Two years later, Dan is sporting a similar look and will undoubtedly be hailed as a fashion messiah.
