First Avenue is the world’s greatest rock club. Once upon a time, I walked through the door with 2,000 others to watch Trip Shakespeare rule the stage. Their shows are the stuff of Minneapolis legend. So were their sideburns. (Elaine opted out of the sideburns but sported the best biceps in the band.)
