DAN SOLO PERFORMANCES ANNOUNCED!
Dan Wilson will be giving acoustic concerts this December in Minneapolis and Chicago. He did one in Minneapolis last year and a great time was had by all, so he's doing it again, but with an added show this time! See Tour Page for info.

MESSAGE BOARDS UPDATE
We have heard from MCA that they are making progress on the Message Board repairs and upgrade. While it is taking longer than they expected, they do expect now to have them up and running next week.

MESSAGE BOARDS DOWN
The message board flooders went berserk with vandalism over the weekend. As a result all the MCA Message Boards are down and debugging is taking place. The good people at the MCA New Media department are toiling away and hope the boards will be up and running by next Tuesday, the 30th. We hope they will no longer be easy prey to the simpletons who have been vandalizing the boards. We remain singularly unimpressed with those who choose simply to destroy and disrupt rather than make a positive contribution of their own. Thanks for your patience and we look forward to the return of the Semisonic Board Community!

JOHN MUNSON TO PERFORM AT BENEFIT FOR DISASTER RELIEF
John Munson, bass player of Semisonic will perform this Friday, September 21 at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis. Proceeds will go to NYCPPI, to benefit Firefighters and Police involved in rescue and relief at the site of last week's unconscionable attack. John will perform (approx) 3 numbers acoustically with Dan's brother Matt Wilson.
The 400 Bar has assembled a great bill for this event including Dan Murphy of Soul Asylum, Gary Louris of the Jayhawks, and Jim Boquist of Son Volt, among others. For information check City Pages weekly mag in Minneapolis or call 612/332-2903.
John and Matt are expected to perform sometime between 10:30-11:30 PM.
